A beautiful vintage dome-top trunk chest in solid pine, richly waxed to a warm honey tone that brings out the natural grain and knots.
Adorned with original aged brass straps and decorative mounts — five across the curved lid and seven around the body — with charming clover-shaped terminals. The warm brass patina contrasts beautifully with the waxed wood.
Solid, spacious storage inside. Features stepped bracket feet. This is a classic Lebanese / colonial-style mouneh or dowry chest, perfect as a coffee table, blanket chest, entrance storage, or decorative statement piece.
Condition: Good vintage condition, waxed and nourished, brass cleaned but retains lovely aged patina. Minor wear consistent with age and use.
